When a Customer makes a purchase, we share necessary information with the Merchant to fulfill the Order, including:

  • Contact information
  • Order details

Merchants are independent businesses and are responsible for handling customer information in compliance with applicable laws.

Some merchant-provided business information may be displayed publicly on GoShopBlack, including business name, location, category, products or services, photos, policies, ratings, reviews, badges, certifications, ownership-related marketplace labels, and other listing information approved for publication.

6. Non-Discrimination and Fair Use of Information

GoShopBlack does not use personal information to approve, reject, suspend, remove, or waitlist businesses based solely on race, ethnicity, color, or national origin.

GoShopBlack may use business information, verification information, listing information, customer feedback, compliance history, fraud signals, payment risk, category eligibility, and operational readiness to review applications, listings, accounts, and marketplace participation.

 

If a business chooses to identify itself as Black-owned or as serving Black communities, GoShopBlack may use that information to provide badges, categories, search filters, marketplace features, promotional placement, or other discovery tools consistent with the business’s selections and GoShopBlack’s policies.
